Getting dressed
Donning pants over a rigid prosthetic foot can be quite challenging, particularly with tighter pants. However, with the Xtend Connect Shape, you simply remove the foot, slip on the pants, and then reattach the foot effortlessly. Voilà!
Change shoes
Switching from one shoe to another, or tying shoelaces comfortably can be made easier with a simple hand grip. Just take off the foot and put it in your lap while you do the job. This method works well for folks who like to sit down while changing shoes or tying shoelaces, making it more comfortable, safer and convenient.
Relax in comfort and style
Sometimes stiff and heavy prosthetic feet or legs makes it difficult to find a comfortable and relaxing position. Wherever you place the adapter it’s convenient to be able to disconnect parts at times. If having Xtend Connect Shape placed above knee the user can easily take off the full weight of the leg when needed.
Requires minimal strength
The construction of Xtend Connect Shape makes it easy to handle. It can be effortlessly operated with a single-handed grip, but if that’s not feasible, a two-handed push also works effectively.

The Xtend Connect Shape consists of two main components - a quick fit unit and a base unit – that can be put in any direction you find suitable. The buttons for the locking mechanism can be cut to desired length when adapting to the thickness of the leg and cosmesis, in order to get the perfect fit.
